How we choose

We match the vessel to the voyage.

01

The day and the weather

The captain reviews the forecast before every voyage. If one vessel is better suited to the sea state on your day, we'll suggest it — your family's comfort and the dignity of the ceremony come first.

02

Your port of departure

We depart from Sun Road Marina and Mission Bay in San Diego, and from Oceanside Harbor. We'll match you to the port that makes the most sense for your family's travel.

03

The size of your party

Each vessel has a USCG-certified capacity. We'll confirm which boats are appropriate once we know how many people are joining the voyage.

04

The type of service

Full-body burials require specific deck access and cargo handling. We'll always match the vessel to the committal type before we confirm a date.

Ready to talk

Tell us what you need. We'll find the right boat and day.

No commitment, no rushing. Just a conversation about what your person asked for and how we can make it happen.
